Jammu, Mar 31: Taking a jibe at BJP's claims of Modi wave, Madan Lal Sharma Congress -National Conference Coalition candidate from Jammu-Poonch Constituency while addressing public meetings & Road shows at various places said that only wave which can strengthen our State is peace and development & our main election agenda and Moto is ensuring over all sustainable development of the People.
Addressing a series of public meetings and corner meetings organized here today the Congress Leader said, Only wave which can strengthen our State- is peace and development and our main election agenda is to ensure over all sustainable development of the people.; "I have strongly voiced the issues of Refugees and Border people in the Parliament,' he said while adding, "the Congress is the first Party which has taken the initiatives to resolve the issues of Refugees and Border People and next UPA Government will resolve all these issues as they are already in pipe line."
He called upon the people to support Congress in the Parliament Election for the interest of Jammu and press the hand button on EVMs on 10th April. Sharma also highlighted the works done by him as MP for the last 10 years and said that he accommodated all communities and areas of his Constituency without any distinction of Caste, Creed and Colour.
"UPA Government has passed many historical bills in the Parliament like MGNREGA, Food Security Bill, Lokpal bill, NRHM, Vendors Protection bill, RGAYM RTI, Land Acquitiion bill, Adhaar, Udaan, Himmayat, he said while highlighting various achievements of UPA led Congress regime and NC- Congress state coalition. He also hailed one Rank one Pension for defence forces and said it will benefit lakhs of Soldiers who have rendered selfless service for safe guarding our borders and fighting insurgency. On the occasion at Bassi Village Vikram Singh Charak, District Secretary Panthers Party Samba alongwith dozens of his workers joined Congress in presence of Madan Lal Sharma.
Congress candidate addressed public meetings at Sehora, Chak Jaralan, Bassi Palli, Chak Murar, Kanal, Bhotyari, Chak Avtara, Bishnah, Dhabbar, Deoli, Ratnal, Sarore and etc.
Among those who addressed these meetings included Manjit Singh Ex Minister, Ram Paul, Rajesh Bitto, Shashi Sharma, Suman Mahaldar, Ghambir Charak, Sunita , Neelam also appealed the people to vote and support for Madan Lal Sharma.
