Kishtwar, Mar 31: A meeting of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar was today held under the Chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari and was attended by workers working in Rattle H.E Project Drabshalla, BEACON and other private labourers from District Kishtwar.
The participants in their speeches strongly criticized the CAPD department for its failure to issue monthly ration from concerned government sale depots of CAPD in District Kishtwar which has caused a brewing resentment among the labour classes.
While addressing the meeting Joginder Bhandari said that the labourers class due to non release of ration from government depots, the labourers were compel to purchase ration from the open market which every labour cannot afford due to the prevailing high market rates.
He said that government must initiate necessary steps to ensure supply of ration to deport as per the sanctioned scale so that the working classes may not suffer any more. Those attended the meeting includes Mohammad Khalil Tapaql, Mohammad Amin Butt, Anil Sharma, Bashir Ahmed Khan, Ghulam Hussain Gannie, Nisar Baderwahi, Shoket Tapal, Irshad Hussain, Javed Malipathi, Khurshid Sheikh, Abdul Latief, Shoket Ahanger, Sajjad Sheikh, Raj Kumar,Sadrat Ali ,Amjad Ali, Shabir Ali and others. |
