| Navreh celebrated with religious fervour across Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar, 31: Navreh the Ist Navratra celebrated with religious fervour & gaiety today. Various functions were held at different places on the day. Main function was held at K.P Sabha Amphalla where Kuldeep Khoda was chief guest while as Chairpersons Social Welfare board Khem Lata Vakhloo was guest of honour. K.K.Khosa president of the Sabha presided over the function. Cultural programme was presented and meritious students were felicitated by the Sabha on the occasion. K.K.Khosa presented objectives of the Sabha & its future programmes. He voiced concern over 2nd migration outside state due to non availability of jobs at Jammu and stressed for setting up of institutes for providing training in civil services and job oriented courses. Khoda endorsed the views of K. P. Sabha President and stressed for unity of the community & praised for facing so many upheavals in the past boldly. Rajesh Khar, Usha Handoo presented musical programme Galaxy of people were present. Another function was held by All State Kashmir Pandit Conference where H.L. Chatta presided over the function A.N. Sadhu ex -President K.P. Sabha was the Chief Guest & Swami Kumar Ji was guest of Honour. Swami Ji deliberated on importance of Navreh & threw light on the community problems. A function was also conducted by Kashmiri sahiti samiti Trikuta Nagar K. P. Bhawan. Bhajan Kirtan was held & Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi gave religious discourse. Puja, Archana was also performed at various mandirs, Ashrams around Jammu to celebrate the Navreh. |
