Rajouri, Mar 31: Alleging National Conference for befooling people on the name of BJP-PDP coalition , Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders today said that National Conference leaders are raising this baseless statement and are diverting the attention of people from its failure by raking religious sentiments. Referring to recently surfaced controversial video showing Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo mixing religious sentiments, Dar said it is highly unfortunate and it shows that ruling leaders are in fear of losing their chair with their dismal performance and now they are taking support of religion for political benefits. Addressing a series of largely attended meetings at Dassal Jattan, Dharasanwla, Palullian PDP district President Abdul Qayoom Dar said that in last about one month it has been seen that National Conference is making false propaganda on the name of PDP-BJP coalition despite the fact that its clear that no such thing occurs on ground. Seeking votes in favour of party candidate Yashpal Sharma, he said performance of NC led state government in last five years has proved to be a failure and people are moving towards a change by supporting PDP as they are not only fed up by the weak policies of state government but are also impressed with the policies of party. Reminding that people consider the era of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief Minister as golden era, he made fervent appeal to the people to strengthen hands of Mufti Mohd Sayeed by voting in favour of party candidate. Senior party leader Chowdhary Qamar Ali, Tazeem Dar, Haji Jamsheed Ahmed, Shafeeq Chowdhary, Munir Chowdhary, Tahir Lone and others also sought vote for the parry. |
