| JKATF stages protest against terrorist attack at Kathua | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Mar 31: J&K Anti Terrorism Front (JKATF) today staged a massive protest against Pakistan at Bobiya International Border and burned Pakistani flags on terrorist attacks. The protest was led by State Chairman Surinder Singh. Addressing on the occasion, Singh said security lapses are unacceptable that too when hardly few months ago a deadly attack was carried out by terrorists in the same area. He said that it seems the Government have put the common masses at the disposal of these elements who strike at their convenience. Holding Congress led UPA Government responsible for the recent terror attack at Janglote, Singh said, the Government has failed to protect the lives and property of its own people from external forces inimical to peace and tranquility of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. "Such cowardly acts are the result of weak foreign policy of the Government due to which the ultras indulge in massacres and terror acts only to mark their presence and to register their designs. Such acts cannot be carried out all of a sudden. Failure of security agencies to check the intrusions despite of prior apprehension that such misadventures will be carried out by the elements across the border to take advantage of election season in the country is putting the question mark on the functioning of security mechanism in the State," he alleged. |
