5/4/2014 11:16:49 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, May 4: Accusing coalition government of brining development in Jammu and Kashmir State to a grinding halt, People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Co-ordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that entire system of governance has collapsed due to which a free for all situation has been created here. These are the reasons why government was unable to tame corrupt and inefficient people. In his statement issued here, Choudhary Hamid urged people to evaluate work done by former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and compare them with present day scenario before casting their votes in coming phases of Lok Sabha polls. No one other than PDP can raise people's voice in Parliament effectively or guarantee a credible system of governance in Jammu and Kashmir State. The situation has reached a stage where there's no check on corruption due to which inefficient and incapable people were ruling the roost.
Choudhary Hamid said that days are not far away when people will be exercising their right to franchise to elect a new government in Jammu and Kashmir for which the foundation will have to be laid right now. These Lok Sabha elections will become a guiding path for people to elect a credible and answerable state government. Peace in the entire sub-continent and friendly ties with neighbouring states is another major task which PDP had fulfilled and now needs time and chance to strengthen the same.
Choudhary Hamid urged people to give another chance to PDP to carry forward its peace programme and develop Jammu and Kashmir State at par with any other state in the country.
