Poonch/Mendhar, May 4: Continuing with its desperate attempt to smuggle in its ultras into this side of LoC, Pakistan once again embarked upon a futile infiltration bid to sneak in its 7-8 terrorists in Deri Dadsi village in tehsil Mendhar.
As per the reports , the Pakistani army violating the ceasefire, again resorted to the mischief by opening heavy firing from its Jhanda Post , a location on Pkistan side at a heigt of advantage and fired on the Indian post at Nanda Damu 481 post, a position of low advantage on this side.
The Pak rangers started firing at 11.p.m on the intervening night with heavy mortar shells which were effectively retaliated by the Indian Forces , 5 Grenadiers posted on this side and thwarted the attempt of infiltration by the terrorist.
The heavy fire from both sides continued till 3 p.m at night, while the infiltrators were sent back by the Indian forces.
Thereafter, the fire continued till 5 a.m. in the morning which was continued through small arms until the peace prevailed from both sides.
The Pakistani Regiment of 641 Mujhaid is reported to be facilitating the infiltration of the militants which as per the sources have turned very active due to the recent statement made by Pak Defence minister against India.
Pakistan on Friday had resorted to ill means by violating the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Kerni sector of Poonch district.
The Pakistani rangers had earlier on April 25 also opened heavy fire on the two Indian posts viz PP1 and PP2 with small arms which later converted into heavy mortar shelling on the posts and other posts also.
The Indian forces of 3 Gharwal regiment posted along the LoC retaliated with heavy fire to keep the Pakistani aggression at bay successfully.
The Pakistani rangers of 641 Mujahid regiment stationed on the other side of Shahpur sector launched the offensive from its two posts viz Munshi Ghoda and Dachi and were effectively retaliated by the vigilant Indian army that thwarted the nefarious designs of the Pakistan aggression.
However as per the intelligent inputs available, the ceasefire by Pakistan is aimed to push in ultras to this side of LoC as the seasonal change of the weather in the area is reported to be facilitating the militants sneaking to this side of Indian territory.
Sources inform that nearly 20 to 25 ultras are waiting on the other side of the LoC waiting for a chance to sneak into the Indian Territory.
The terrorists awaiting an opportunity to steal into this side of the Indian Territory have made launching pads in the Maitraniya village and are being provided holistic and moral support by 641 Mujahid Regiment of Pakistan establishment, the reliable sources quote.
Sources further reveal that out of many militants awaiting a chance to sneak into the Indian Territory, many among them are those who had crossed over to that side of Pakistan from different areas of Sunderbani, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar and Naushera and are trying for their return on the Indian soil to surrender before the army.
