| One way traffic on Kishtwar-Jammu NH restored | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, May 4: After continuous blockade of Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway, the authorities after 3 days today restore one way traffic at landslide affected area Assar. With the clearance of one way traffic, large number of stranded vehicles including trucks with essential commodities reach Doda and Kishtwar; however the petrol pumps in both the District remains dried today as well thus effecting normal traffic in these two twin districts. The authorities in Doda engaged in road clearance work said that it will take two more days to them to clear the two way traffic fully. It is pertinent to mention that massive landslide at Assar and Baggar villages of Doda District resulted into blockade of National Highway 3 days ago. The landslide was only cleared today afternoon after 6 machines were pressed into service by the authorities, beside private road construction company Leighton also help the authorities in road clearance. |
