| Kashmiri poetry book "Gah Ta Gata" released | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 4: A book release function of title "Gah Ta Gata" a collection of Kashmiri poetry written by Bal Krishan Sanyasi was organized today by Nagraad Adbi Sangam at KL Saigal Hall. The function was presided over by Makhan Lal Kanwal, Sahitya Academy Awardee. Aseer Kishtwari was the Chief Guest and Dr RL Shant was the guest of honor on the occasion. The function was organized by Avtar Krishan Naaz, president Naagraad and the proceedings were conducted by Vijay Wali. Speaking on the occasion Bal Krishan Sanyasi said that his poetry collection deals with psychological dilemma of conscious, sub-conscious and un-conscious states of mind. Rattan Lal Jowhar and HL Misri read papers on the released book which provided an insight into content and form of the book. PN Shaad and PN Koul in their address appreciated Naagraad for its tireless efforts for promoting Kashmiri literature and also applauded Bal Krishan Sanyasi for his continues contribution to Kashmiri poetics and literature with his distinct thought and style. Prominent among other who were present on the occasion included Prof PN Trisal, Pyari Halash and Bimla Raina, SN Veer, JC Saroor, Dr Roshni Saraf and Amin Banihali. |
