ABSMS holds meeting, decides to intensify agitation after removal of MCC

Jammu, May 14: Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh (ABSMS) today held a meeting in Green Belt Park Gandhi Nagar under the Chairmanship of its President Dev Anand Gill and decided to intensify the struggle for the rights of the employees working in JMC after removal of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
The members decided to press the government in favour of their demands including enhancement in retirement age from 58 to 60 years, regularization of daily-rated workers, casual labourers and need-based workers engaged after 1994, removal of pay anomalies and budgetary support for public sector undertakings.
Those who present in the meeting were Sahazadi Gill, Amar Mommen, Yash Pal, Rash Pal, Hardev Singh, Sohan Mottan, Tersem Hans, Ajit Gill, Kaggi Mommen, Surinder Bhatti, Sunny, Sanju, Chaman Lal, Raju and others.
