Jammu, May 14: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Jammu Yatri Bhawan Executive Committee celebrated Lord Narsing Dev jayanti who is considered an incarnation of Lord Vishnu" at Radha Krishan Temple, Peer Kho-Jammu.
At the onset of occasion cleric Puran Das Bawa of Temple lit the traditional lamp with Pooja Archna of Narsingh Dev. Pawan Shastri,President of Jammu Yatri Bhawan. Chetan Das Bawa and M L Dogra, Chairman Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan who were present on the occasion highlighted the epic stories related to Lord Narsingh Dev as mentioned in religious books.
During the proceedings of this religious occasion, the eminent artistes namely K K Joshi, Usha Raina, M C Kotwal, Kamli Devi, Neelam Gandotra of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented devotional songs dedicated to the Lord Narsingh Dev and enthralled the devotees present on this occasion.
After the devotional songs programme the temple committee also arranged Bhandara for the devotees and general public.
Prominent citizens of the Jammu City namely Secretary Hem Raj, Deepak Kumar Dogra, Rohan, Tilak Raj, Neelam, and many others present on the occasion while K K Joshi conducted the program. |
