| Declare official holiday on May 16: CCI to Govt | | | Jammu May 14: The meeting of the office bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) Jammu was held today at Chamber House under the Presidentship of Y V Sharma in which the members urged the state government to declare holiday on May 16 when 'poll counting' is scheduled for the recent Lok Sabha Polls-2014.
According to a press statement issued by the CCI Jammu spokesperson, the members in this meeting requested the state government to announce holiday on D-Day the May 16 (Friday) 2014 the day when counting of votes of Parliamentary Elections is due.
"The Chamber is of the opinion that every citizen would like to have up-to-date information regarding the latest results of Parliamentary elections, statement added.
