| JAMMU, June 4: Dr Dara Singh, Senior Orthopedic Surgeon & Ex HoD GMC Jammu delivered a lecture on "Importance of Health and Wellness" as a part of special interest programme at MV International School. He in his address defined the term health in details as Physical, Mental, Spiritual& Social Health. Complete health can be attained only when all these components are equally taken care. He further added that a nation can progress, when its citizen maintain good health. He gave target to the students to move India from "third world" status to "Second World". Further he inspired the children against drug abuse, by giving them a slogan, "save yourself from taking the first step towards drugs". The Chairman of the school H L Abrol in his address thanked Dr Singh for taking out time from his busy schedule and laid emphasis on routine exercise for sound health and healthy soul. |
