JAMMU, June 4: All India Backward Class Union (AIBCU) has demanded 27 percent reservation for the state OBCs who are 60% of the state population.
In a meeting of the Union, its president Abdul Majid Malik said that OBCS are not begging but demanding their due constitutional and legal rights. Government should shun the concept of under estimating the strength and power of the state OBCs.
In the absence of their due share, state OBCs are with their firm stand to oust the Congress and National Conference from the political map of the State. Congress cannot befool the State OBCs by raising the issue of economical weaker sections of the society who too need justice with a specific share from the share of the open category. |
