Jammu, June 4: Two persons committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance mysteriously at their places in separate incidents. Police sources said that yesterday a man identified as Rakesh Kumar (30) son of Kamal Lal of Panjtoot was shifted to Pallanwala Primary Health Centre (PHC) where doctors after preliminary treatment referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H). "Today during treatment, Rakesh failed to respond the treatment, they said.
Meanwhile, a man who was undergoing treatment at GMC&H after he consumed some poisonous substance at his residence at RS Pura succumbed.
The deceased has been identified as Ashok Kumar son of Inder Ram of RS Pura who failed to respond the medical treatment at GMC&H Jammu.
Later, after legal formalities both the families were handed over to the family members for last rites. Police have registered both the cases at concerned police stations. |
