Kishtwar, June 4: Minister of State for Home, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today dedicated C T Scan machine to public at District Hospital Kishtwar in presence of Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar Dr. Parvaiz Iqbal Wani, doctors and paramedical staff. While addressing the media persons, Kichloo said that Kishtwar District is accidental prone area and added that due to head and other body part injuries, many patients in past were referred to Jammu. He said that with the functioning of C T Scan machine. He said the people will get benefit at door step. He lured the role of former Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for sanctioning additional 100 bedded hospital block for Kishtwar, beside a cancer hospital. He said that process for He said that government is committed for improving health facilities in all districts of the state. He said that the land acquisition process for establishment of cancer hospital has been set into motion, beside the construction of 100 bedded additional hospital block will be started shortly. He said that out of Rs. 80 lakh sanctioned for construction of separate maternity Ward inside District Hospital Kishtwar, Rs. 20 lakh has been released and added that same will be constructed at old hospital building complex. He later also held the meeting with officials and reviewed the functioning of the hospital. During the course of the meeting, several decisions with regard to development of hospital and health infrastructure were also taken on spot. |
