| Dr. Karan Singh takes stock of arrangements | | Annual Kheer Bhawani Mela | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 4: Member Parliament and Chairman Trustee Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust Dr. Karan Singh along with Vikramaditya Singh, Ajatshatru Singh and Maj. Gen (Retd) R S Jamwal visited Mata Kheer Bhawani Ji Temple Ganderbal and took stock of the arrangements of annual Mela. Members paid obeisance at Mata Kheer Bhawani Ji Temple where Annual Mela is being held on June 6, 2014, he went around the Shrines complex and took stocks of its arrangements being made by the Administration and J&K Dharmarth Trust for the Pilgrims on the occasion.
He directed the staff of the Trust to ensure that devotees do not face any sort of inconvenience and provide all facilities to the devotees during the Mela.
He also requested State Administration and concerned authorities to ensure foolproof security and cleanliness in and around the Shrines complex.
He also expressed his deep pleasure to Muslim community helping their Hindus brethrens to offer obeisance at the Temple where lakhs of devotees visiting the Temple. |
