Rajouri, June 5: To create awareness about recruitment in the army amongst the youth of backward areas, Thanamandi based 38 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Romeo Force and 13 Sector HQS RR is conducting a training programme for the youth. As per press release, the youth are being trained in medical checkup, physical training and preparation for written test. A movie was screened on the recruitment procedures at YEGN center at Thanamandi. Youth from Thanamandi, Behrote, Saz , Shadra , Kopra , Darahl , Rajdhani, Kalaban , Sangiyot and other areas falling under the jurisdiction of the unit have been undergoing training camp. Officiating Commanding officer of the unit also delivered a speech to motivate the youth to join the Indian army on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion a senior officer of the unit said that the event was organized for the youth to give an overall idea about ennoblement procedure in the Indian army and give training to improve their physical fitness and academic knowledge. |
