| Div Com inaugurates membership drive | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 5 : Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu today visited the office of the Election Board, All J&K Ravi Dass Sabha (Regd.) Krishna Nagar, Jammu and inaugurated the membership drive during which the membership booklets were also issued to different branch sabhas. The Election process for the post of President and General Secretary of All J&K Ravi Dass Sabha (Regd.), Jamu has been announced and a five member Election Board has been constituted comprising Bodh Raj Bhanalia, Advocate Ranjeet Kumar, Mulkh Raj Bangotra and Ajit Parshad Thappa as member where as M. L. Hans as Chairman of the Election Board. As per the directions of the High Court of J&K Jammu the Election Board is working under the direct supervision and guidance of the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.In the process of the Election, the registration of members for voter list is a pre-requisite.
The Election Board under the supervision and guidance of Divisional Commissioner Jammu has generated the membership booklets for issuance to various affiliated branches of the Sabha for membership drive and accordingly the notification has been issued.The membership booklets will be issued to the different branches of the sabha working under the All J&K Ravi Dass Sabha (Regd.) Jammu w.e.f 05-06-2014 to 19-06-2014 and will be received back after completion alongwith the voter list from 10-06-2014 to 24-06-2014.
Shantmanu assured the participants that the Elections will be held as per constitution of the Sabha in a very transparent manner and asked the Biradari members to fully co-operate with the Election Board for conducting the Election process. |
