| CJM awards three months imprisonment to PDP leader | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, June 5: Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Kishtwar Amit Gupta today sentenced to three month jail to Peoples Democratic Party leader for his alleged trespassing into college premises and obstructing construction of boundary wall of Govt Degree College (GDC) Kishtwar. A case against FIR No.188/2010 u/s 447A of Police Station Kishtwar stands registered in this regard. According to reports from Kishtwar, during the hearing of case Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar Amit Gupta convicted PDP leader Joginder Mahajan s/o Ram Chand of Kishtwar for having trespassed into GDC Kishtwar and obstructing the construction of boundary wall of College and sentenced three months imprisonment. Pertinently an FIR against PDP leader was lodged by Pawan Kumar incharge Principal Degree College (GDC) Kishtwar after the accused allegedly obstructing construction of boundary wall of Govt Degree College (GDC) Kishtwar. Meanwhile after conviction, accused the PDP leader has applied for bail in High Court Jammu. |
