Early Times Report

Jammu, June 21: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) in its coordinators meeting under the chairmanship of YAIKS Chief R K Bhat expressed satisfaction over the Prime Minister NarinderModi's keen interest for Return and Rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits back to valley. Going by his track record, we all have to pull our socks and gear up and respond in a united way so that we do not miss the last opportunity available. According to press statement issued here today, the YAIKS members in this meeting said that they feel the new dispensation at the centre is committed to deliver on the promises made to displaced community. "It is, therefore, imperative that we choose to be a part of this process, they observed and said, "let us ensure that we do not derail it; for if that happens, it shall make us lose golden and perhaps last opportunity to reclaim our motherland.'
"As long as the Govt. at the Centre remains sincere and committed to our return with honor and dignity, we too would be required to move an extra mile in making that happen, they said. YAIKS requests to all the members to form a common agenda to be presented to the Central Govt. to say that we do not leave a united leadership, as they have always been saying.
YAIKS firmly believes that unless Govt. is not going to address the main sufferers of the community like over aged youth and the relief holders no package for the return will be workable. It is high time for the Govt's, various Political Parties, Social workers and Religious Preachers to protect, safeguard our rights and welcome the Modi's vision for the KPs return. "Kashmir is an abode of great Saints, Rishis and Munis, we as the natives of Kashmir can't be separated from their land, they added.
Among others present in the meeting were Sunil Koul (Vice President), Manoj Handoo (General Secretary) Deepak Dhar, Sanjay Ganjoo, D. N. Bhat and Ajay (Secretaries).
