NC’s elite continue to keep distance with masses
'Awakening' call for CM through worker's letter

Early Times Report
Jammu, June 21: In yet another instance reflecting the harsh and bitter reality for ruling NC elite, it is an awakening call for the party leadership that even after facing debacle in LS polls, it has chosen to keep distance with workers and cadres on the ground level. The worker from a remote area of district Kupwara has opened up this all through a letter to Chief Minister making him realize how this distance and arrogance of the party ministers can cost party very dearly in Assembly elections. Surprisingly, in the bold yet brazen contents of the letter, the worker has sought to draw a parallel of this approach of NC elite with that of rival PDP the leadership of which is in constant touch with the common masses and interacting with them regularly, a strategy which can fetch the party rewards in Assembly polls. The letter from the worker in Kupwara has particularly pointed out arrogance of sitting MLA and Law Minister in not responding to calls of the workers and villagers facing problems on various fronts.

The text of the letter goes ..........
Respected Chief Minister Omar Abdullah sahab
Dear sir,

I being the NC worker feel ashamed of the fact that although our state political party NC have lost all the three Parliamentary seats in Kashmir valley, but still some of our Ministers remain out of touch from the public. I am really feeling disgusting on seeing our main opposition party, PDP in full swing in the field of interacting with the common masses at the grass root level so as to increase its vote bank, but on the other hand our ministers are in deep hibernation because they avoid to interact with the common masses and this slothfulness has reached to this extent that they even don't keep their cell phones switched on.
Sir think for a while that if our Ministers keep doing this in the forthcoming days, our party will have to definitely pay for this. Sir to be honest and fair and it is the fact that I several times tried to reach Mir Saifullah on his cell phone [9419000881] but his cell phone came switched off continuously although at that time I was on the horns of dilemma. Sir you can understand well that Mir Saifullah has not got any lesson from the recent setback in the Parliamentary elections. So, sir I appeal you on the behalf of my villagers that either find an alternative over Mir Saifullah in the forthcoming elections or to advice him to be at the disposal of common masses.
