Jammu, June 21: The Bi-annual Elections of Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the term 2014-16 were held today at Chamber House under the supervision of the election President Prithvi Raj Gupta.
For the Post of President Parveen Kumar Gupta secured 736 Votes and Rakesh Gupta secured 1237 votes. Rakesh Gupta was declared elected as President.
For the Post of Sr. Vice President Sham Lal Langer secured 1111 votes and Surinder Mahajan secured 862 votes. Sham Lal Langer was declared elected as Sr. Vice President.
For the Post of Jr. Vice President Bharat Bhushan Gupta secured 550 votes and Deepak Aggarwal secured 1406 votes. Deepak Aggarwal was declared elected as Jr. Vice President.
For the Post of Secretary General Anil Gupta secured 241 votes, Arun Gupta secured 951 votes and Manish Gupta secured 787 votes. Arun Gupta was declared elected as Secretary General.
For the Post of Secretary Rajesh Gupta secured 639 votes and Rahul Mahajan secured 1328 votes. Rahul Mahajan was declared elected as Secretary.
For the Post of Treasurer Ashu Gupta secured 1531 votes. Narinder Gupta secured Nil votes and Rakesh Jandial secured 430 votes. Ashu Gupta was declared elected as Treasurer
The Elected President thanked the team of his election committee comprising of Shiv Partap Gupta, Rattan Lal Mahajan, Rajan Gupta and Rajesh Jain, Polling Officers, Special Invitees and the Poll observers for their fruitful contribution in conducting the peaceful free, fair and transparent elections.
The President also thanked all the worthy members who braving scorching heat participated in such a large number by casting their valuable votes and elected their future leader for the term 2014-2016. |
