Jammu, June, 27: Junior Engineer PMGSY Division Billawar, Mohammad Younis Junior Engineer who was caught red-handed by the team of VOJ on June 24, 2013 while accepting Rs 1 lac as bribe through his father has sought bail. Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing today after hearing Adv Sachin Gupta issued notice to State of J&K through Incharge Vigilance Organization Jammu and directed them to file detailed report and objections about the case. Court also permitted Dasti service and directed Registry to list this bail application on Monday. F.I.R. No.20/2014 P/S VOJ was registered on the basis of complaint made by the contractor Shalinder Vaid that Mohammad Younis Junior Engineer PMGSY Division Billawar is demanding Rs 1.00 lakh as bribe for preparation of pending bills amounting to Rs.15.00 lakhfor the work namely construction of road from Ther to Ghat in Billawar, Kathua executed by the complainant. The total cost of construction of the road was 50.00 lakh out of which 35.00 lakh have already been released to the contractor. |
