| To explore talent, Natrang brainchild's 'Discover the Actor in You' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 27: Continuing its endevour to explore hidden talent among the youths of state, the Natrang now brainchild a new initiative in the title of 'Discover the Actor in you'- a unique theatre workshop for the aspiring actors. The workshop is being conducted by Neelu Dogra a 1999 batch National School of Drama Post graduate, who is currently working in Singapore since last four years. Natrang Director, Padamshree Balwant Thakur at Natrang Studio Theatre told that the ten days workshop will start from June 30. The timings of the workshop will be 11 am to 2 pm he said adding, "Neelu Dogra is the first girl from J&K who was selected to National School of Drama, New Delhi and specialized in Acting. Neelu Dogra started her career in Acting from Natrang with the play 'Aaj Ki Aurat' written and directed by Balwant Thakur and later participated in most of the major productions of Natrang including 'Bawa Jitto' and 'Kanjoos' directed by Adil Hussain. She also had performed in Star Plus "Kasauti Zindagi ki" and "Kumkum", in Sahara"Raat Hone Ko Hai" and in Sony "Crime Petrol" whereas to marked her presence in Bollywwod with her role in 'Bombay Central' by Aizad Gustad, 'Perzinia' by Rahul Dholakia, Dreams Unlimited by Vimukth Singh, 1972 by Amrit Sagar, Music Meri Jaan by Tanuja Shankar Khan and a Singapore based short film Honor Bound by Warren Tessler |
