Agencies BHOPAL, June 27: The multi-crore Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam has now knocked at the RSS doors. As per reports, names of several top RSS functionaries have cropped up in the case, including Suresh Soni and ex-chief late KS Sudarshan. Pankaj Trivedi, ex-controller of MPPEB or Vyapam, has told the Special Task Force (STF) probing the case in a written statement that former state higher education minister Laxmikant Sharma had recommended that a candidate named Mihir Kumar be appointed food inspector. Sharma, as per the statement, had said that Mihir was a man of RSS leader Suresh Soni. Apart from Mihir, Sharma had also recommended the names of four other candidates. Mihir Kumar, in his statement to the STF, disclosed that he used to work as helper to former RSS chief KC Sudarshan. Reports quoted Mihir as saying in the statement that he had given a photocopy of the application form for food inspector examination, 2012, to Sudarshan, requesting him to ensure his appointment. |
