| JKTF demands release of salary to RMSA, SSA activists | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, June 27: J&K Teachers Forum (JKTF) held a meeting at Kathua under the chairman ship of Provincial Secretary S. Parveen Singh and discussed the issue of release of pending salaries to teachers working under RMSA and SSA schemes.Addressing the teachers, Parveen Singh criticized the concerned authorities for not releasing the salary grants of teachers working under RMSA & SSA and sought the personal intervention of Chief Minister in this regard and save the teachers from starvation as salaries have not released to many teachers for last eight months in SSA and three months in RMSA. He said that teachers has already protested and if the salary grant is not released teachers will go on indefinite strike. Amar Nath Thakur said that a memorandum in this regard was submitted to Chief Secretary on 29-May -2014 but it is matter of great regret that no action has been taken to release the salary of teachers. Among those who spoke include Balbir Singh, Bharat Bhushan, Poonam Singh, Avtar Krishan, Tara Mani, Devinder Singh, Manohar Kumar, Mohd Sadiq, Bishan Dass, Sunil Kumar and Romesh. |
