| NCP condemns Govt's step motherly attitude towards Agri Technocrats | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 27: Jammu and Kashmir unit of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today held a meeting under the leadership of state president NCP Thakur Randhir Singh in which members condemned the action of the Agriculture Department ignoring the Rehber-e-Zirats (ReZs) of Jammu province who were agitating for their regularization after completion of their seven years. Thakur Randhir Singh who is a National president Aromatic Plants Growers association of India (APGAI) also reminded that he has been demanding from the state govt for the last ten years to utilize the services of Agriculture technocrats for the preservation and utilization of Aromatic and medicinal plants which got 80% wealth in Jammu and Kashmir which will a great help to the farmers. He said Jammu and Kashmir govt has ignored his suggestions and deprived the farmers of entire Jammu and Kashmir from Lakhanpur to Leh. Speaking in this meeting Singh appreciated the Chief Minister of Chattisgarh Dr Raman Singh and others who accepted his recommendation as Chairman APGAI and extended a helping hand to their farmers to become economic freedom. State NCP has warned the state govt that no more injustice will be tolerated against Jammu region and also the local ministers to learn a lesson from the recent parliamentary elections. Vice President State NCP Dev Raj Sharma (Retd senior Agriculture officer) condemned the action of Agriculture department. |
