| Hyderabad corporators call on Commissioner JMC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 27: Delegation of Corporators from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation headed by Deputy Mayor G Raj Kumar called on Kiran Wattal, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and discussed various issues regarding Health & Sanitation, Building, Enforcement and other sections with him. According official JMC spokesperson, the delegation of Corporators from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation which is on a visit to Jammu & Kashmir for the study of the Municipal Corporation and other Local bodies had a detailed meeting with Commissioner JMC.
"The Commissioner JMC apprised about working of the Corporation in detail highlighting Revenue sources, financial support from State Govt. functioning of Engineering, Health & Sanitation, Building, Enforcement and other sections, it added.
Spokesperson also added that the projects and new initiatives undertaken with regard to redressal of public grievances were also discussed.
"The Corporators appreciated the work being undertaken and shared their own experiences in related fields, it said. He added a Power Point Presentation about the activities of the Municipal Corporation was also shown to the visiting delegation and later souvenirs were presented on behalf of JMC to the visitors. Among others present on this occasion included Kapil Sharma Joint Commissioner, JMC and officers of JMC and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. |
