Kishtwar, June 27 : Senior Congress leader and member Kissan Board Shamsher Singh Bhandari today demanded better facilities for the people during upcoming holy month of Ramadan. In a press statement issued today, Bhandari demanded uninterrupted power supply in morning and evening hours, regular supply of water, availability of ration, LPG, Kerosene oil, Sugar & proper security patrolling during Travi time to prevent thefts. He urged upon the District administration to ensure proper and fresh supply of consumable items and other essential commodities.
He demanded stern action against the black marketers who sold the goods at exorbitant rates. Congress leader also extended his best wishes to the Muslim community and prayed for strengthening of communal harmony and brotherhood.
Among the others who greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of holy month of Ramadan include Tilak Raj Shan, Farooq Ahmed Tapal, Nisar Ahmed Mir, Ghulam Hussain Shah, Akshay Kumar Shan and Surjeet Kumar Bhandari. |
