Early Times Report Kathua, July 4: Nav Kathua Railway Station Nirmaan Samiti (NKRSNS) today demanded an Alternate railway line/station Project in Kathua. The activists of NKRSNS, on the eve of visit of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi in state, while addressing a press conference demanded that the Railway Ministry should initiate the proper survey of the Project and include the project in the upcoming Railway Budget. Talking to the media persons the NKRSNS spokespersons Surinder Bajaj, Bunty, Sanjeev Verma, Varinder Sharma and Rajinder Pacifist thanked to Local MP and MoS in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh for recommending the Project to the Railway Ministry. "As per the Project, an alternate Railway station has been proposed in the heart of Kathua city, behind Ramleela ground near Sadhu ki Boliyan and a flag station at Sherpur village near Jakhbar. The project stands already submitted to the Railway ministry and a pre-feasibility survey also been conducted by the Ministry with an Okayed report," they said. The Samiti is very hopeful that the project would see the light of the day in the present government headed by Modi, they added. On the occasion, Amrish, Sachin, Vikas, Vicky Saraf, Daya Ram, Mulkh Raj and many others were also present who also laid their stress on the union government to consider the project in upcoming railway budget. |
