Jammu, July 4: : The management of Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC has cautioned general public of Kishtwar ,Doda, Ramban districts particularly the people residing in Bunzwar, Cherhar, Bhanderkoot, Hasti, Kandni, Thathri, Premnagar and Pul Doda, not to move near River Chenab from July 5, as the gates of Dulhasti Power Station Dam will be opened for periodical reservoir flushing. According to official spokesperson, Management of Dulhasti Power Station, NHPC Limited has cautioned general public of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts not to move near River Chenab from July 5 (10 PM) to July 6 (12 Night) as the gates of Dulhasti Power Station Dam shall be opened for periodical reservoir flushing. Management of the Power Station has also advised public residing near River Chenab downstream areas to refrain themselves along the movement of their cattle, trucks and tippers from moving near the banks of River to avoid any mis-happening. Spokesperson said anybody violating the request will do so at his own risk and responsibility and NHPC or Dulhasti Power Station management will not be responsible for the consequences thereof. |
