| EVs call on Dy Chairman LC, hail CM | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, July 4: A delegation of Education Volunteers (EVs) teachers of Mendhar and Balakote zone today called on Deputy Chairman Legislative Council (LC), Javed A Rana at Mendhar and hailed Chief Minister for considering their long pending demands. The delegates during their meeting with Deputy Chairman Upper House, expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for revoking the new recruitment policy, considering long pending demands of the ReT teachers for their regularization and granting them five years service weight age and redressing the grievances of the teaching community. The delegation appealed to the Deputy Chairman for regularization of all Education Volunteers (EVs) teachers who have completed almost eight years of service and are awaiting orders of regularization. He assured the delegation of early redressal of their demand of regularization. Meanwhile Rana impressed upon the teaching fraternity especially the members of the delegation to perform their duties devotedly and make efforts for taking the standards of education to new heights. |
