Jammu, July 4: Jesus Motivated Group (JMG) in collaboration with JKP and Christian Sports Organization (CSO) conducted the final Quiz Competition oral Test for different School Students at St. Mary's Gandhi Nagar Church Hall Jammu.
The school students who declared successful in the first round of General Awareness Test conducted by the host earlier have been declared 'qualified' for the final Quiz Competition organized today. Fr Kuriakose, Incharge Priest Gandhi Nagar Church, Jammu was the chief guest in the valedictory function while Easther William , Principal Alexander Memorial High School Jammu and Pawan Parihar, SSP Traffic Jammu were the Guests of honour.
The chief guest and the other dignitaries distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams alongwith Cash Prizes to winners.
15 Students from different Schools namely Presentation Convent School Gandhi Nagar,DPS Jammu, Alexander Memorial High School Jammu , S.D.Sabha High School Rehari, Dr.Ambedkar High School Jammu, Pavan Atma Convent School Manwal,Satya Public Channi Himmant School, Singh High School Jammu participated in final Quiz contest.
In his address chief guest Fr Kuriakose lauded the efforts of the organizers for the initiative which will go a long way in improving know hows about the happenings in and around the world.
Earlier, Rajesh Gill Chief Coordinator and President of the Jesus Motivated Group (JMG) presented welcome address highlighting main objective of the group to conduct the Quiz contest.
Spokesperson said that cash prizes were sponsored by the SSP Traffic Jammu whereas the trophies and the certificates were sponsored by the Christian Sports Organization Jammu.
A panel of judges declared the winners of the contest including Rabacca Rupanzal (5th of Presentation Convent School), Rohan Gill (5th of DPS Jammu) and Disha Burut (7th of Presentation Convent) as top three winners respectively in junior category. Meanwhile Reet (8th of Pavan Atma Convent School Kathar Manwal), Denim (10th of Satya Public High School) and Abhishek Kandyal (10th of S.D.Sabha High School Rehari) were declared top three winners respectively.
The final Quiz Competition was conducted by RK Verma Principal DPS Katra and Rajesh Bakshi Chief Prosecuting Officer Crime Hqrs. Jammu, while the proceedings of the valediction function were conducted by Victor Sotra, V President ,CSO.
Among others who actively supported the event were Asif Gill,Victor Bhatti, Jyoti Gill, Maqueen Khonja,Rozer,Sachin, Nitu Khokher and Austin Peter. |
