Jammu, July 4: Activists of National Secular Forum (NSF) held a protest demonstration against Chancellor of Central University for adjusting outsiders in the varsity. National Secular Forum (NSF) activists led by NSF President Sukhdev Singh today assembled outside gate of Central University and lodged protest demonstration amid sloganeering against Vice Chancellor SS Baloria. Speaking on the occasion, President NSF criticized the working of Central University Vice-Chancellor and also to show there resentment against Central University of Jammu authorities are putting each and every effort for absorbing their kiths and kins in the campus and no check accountability in functioning of Central University Jammu. NSF President Sukhdev Singh on one hand maximum of new appointees was outsiders and on the other hand as per reservation rules, there were two posts reserved for physically handicapped persons in non teaching cadre. "One candidate namely Ashish Saraf had applied for non teaching posts under reservation category for handicapped persons. "Ashish had appeared in the written test, typing test as well as in the interview but at the time of final selection, CUJ administration rejected Ashish, terming his degree as invalid. A question arises if his degree was not valid, then why administration had allowed Ashish to sit in written examination and interview", Sukhdev said. NSF members said that NSF will continue its struggle for the social cause and appealed the people of the state to come forward and exposed the corrupt person in CUJ. |
