AJKMPJ alleges present coalition has disfigured democratic Institutions in state

Jammu, July 9: All J&K Movement for Peace & Justice (AJKMPJ) today said that the coalition government in state has systematically insulted and disfigured democratic Institutions in the state depriving people of their democratic rights.
Kuldeep Kumar Rao said that Panchyat Election in the state were held in the year 2011 but for the last three years nothing has been done for strengthening the basic democratic institutions in the state.
"This regime had only conducted Panchyat elections to get grants which were blocked by the centre for not conducting Panchyat elections in the state, he said and added, "the coalition government has created hurdles in the election of Block Development Councils & District Development Councils is a clear indication that this government is not interested to decentralize powers."
He also alleged that the government has failed to conduct civic bodies elections which were due in February 2010and for the last five years J&K has been witnessing deliberate and clear attempt to weaken democratic institutions of their rights.
Cautioning the Sarpanches, Ayurvedic Doctors, Dental Surgeons, ReZs; Government employees Associations who are fasting and demonstrating against corrupt system, he said this won't help them and general masses because the corrupt politicians will never frame such laws/acts/policies as would benefit the aggrieved masses except themselves. He reiterated that it is the high time that people must wakeup and vote out present polluted political system and bringing in the cleansed system and vision of Aam Aadmi Party. He also cautioned the general public not to get misled by the degraded politics of divide and rule regionalism, communalism and corrupt practices for the sake of votes by these corrupt political parties and use their right to vote judiciously in coming assembly elections 2014.
