Jammu, July 9: Welcoming the Panthers Party's agenda of Jammu statehood, which was recently declared and adopted by the party in a convention held at Jammu, State President Young Panthers and MLC Syed Mohammad Rafiq Shah along with office bearers hailed the decision in unison. According to press release, Gagan Pratap Singh Spokesman Young Panthers disclosed that the agenda of Jammu statehood under the doctrine of 'Reorganization' of J&K encompassed the territory extending from Lakhanpur to Banihal tunnel from one side and Muzaffrabad-Kotli-Mirpur-Rawalakot-Poonch to Kishtwar including Marwah-Dachhan, Paddar from the other. He added that the Jammu state should have 60 assembly seats besides 40 seats reserved for the territory of Jammu province currently under POK. Singh further said that the reorganization would also endorse Kashmir state with 60 assembly seats and Ladakh Gilgit state with 40 Assembly seats. "There shall be confederation of all units with full constitutional protection to the minorities in the respective states besides reservation of SC & ST, OBC, RBA, Women, Ex-servicemen, PWD etc in accordance with their population in the previous census", he said. Gagan Pratap Singh exhorted the people especially youth to follow the bandwagon of Jammu statehood and participate in the massive signature campaign which shall be organized by the party very shortly in all the Assembly constituencies of Jammu Pradesh. He also urged upon the electorates of Jammu province to vote and support NPP in the forthcoming Assembly elections to get rid of the fistful of Kashmiri tyrants and for transparent and accountable governance.
