Jammu, July 9: Alleging large scale irregularities committed in Central University Jammu, since its establishment, National Secular Forum (NSF) has sought audit of university, since its establishment. Addressing media persons, NSF state president, Sukhdev Singh said that Chancellor NN Vohra had ordered an enquiry to ascertain the involvement of PS Pathania in various irregularities and acts of omission and commission during his tenure in Jammu University but the same disappeared in mysterious manner. He alleged that the report disparaged only after Pathania exerted some pressure on the university cadre probing the matter. "Surprisingly, instead of taking action against Pathania, enquiry was closed and Pathania was appointed in Central University Jammu and recently has been given extension of six months, putting at shelf all norms", he alleged. "The Central University of Jammu has become hub of corruption, where all rules are being violated with impunity but the government has become a mute spectator", he added. Alleging large scale corruption and irregularities committed in Central University since its establishment, Singh demanded audit of University, since its establishment, to curb the growing menace of corruption in Central University.
