| DDC Rajouri asks to complete process of scrutiny, reconciliation of BPL lists | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, July 9: District Development Commissioner Rajouri Hemant Kumar Sharma convened a meeting of CA&PD, Revenue and Rural Development Department in order to complete the whole process of scrutinization and reconciliation of BPL lists as well as the socio economic and caste census in the district Rajouri .
Additional Deputy Commissioner Salim Malik, ACR Sukhdev Singh Sambyal, District Statistics and Evalution Officer Umaun Ahmed , District Information Officer Ashima Iqbal Assistant Director CA&PD Kewal Krishan, all Tehsildar's and BDOs were also present in this meeting .
Speaking in this meeting District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri Hemant Kumar asked concerned to conduct the re-verification in the original lists earlier prepared by the consumer affairs and public distribution department and municipal committees so as to prepare an actual list of Below Poverty Line (BPL) individuals for better distribution system.DDC also asked them to forward the suo motto objections raised by public so that the draft publication can be rectified well in time.
In addition to this, DDC asked Tehsildar's to speed up the ongoing process and even strictly directed the Assistant director, CA&PD to ask the Tehsil Supply Officer of Sunderbani and Rajouri to provide the BPL list to concerned BDOS by tomorrow otherwise be ready for strict disciplinary action.
He also asked Assistant Director CA&PD to direct TSO's to attend Block Development Office of their concerned tehsil regularly for scrutiny of BPL lists. In the end DDC reviewed initiatives being implemented to ensure ban on use of polythene bag in the district Rajouri and display of market rates on shops. He asked the concerned officers to carry frequent market checks and take strict action against the defaulters. |
