Kathua, July 9 : In the backdrop of Union railway budget, Nav Kathua Railway Station Nirmaan Samiti (NKRSNS) said that the budget gave only disappointment to them. Speaking to media persons, the spokespersons of the Samiti, Sanjeev Verma, Varinder Sharma, Rajinder Pacifist and Raj Kumar said that after given assurance of considering the project of construction of an alternate railway station in the heart of Kathua town by the MOS, Prime Minister Office Jatinder Singh, the Samiti had a hope but all end up in vain after seeing that no priority was given to the project in the railway budget. They said that it was the long pending dream project and demand of the entire Kathua people that adds a complete development of entire district right from Ramleela ground to Bani, Billawar, Basohali and the Andhar belt including Kharkra, Changran, Kokhyal, Sherpur, Jakhbar, Nagari and many other uncountable parts of the area. Samiti also told that it is going to intensify the movement to pressurize the union government in peaceful manner so that long pending demand could be resolved. |
