| Communal harmony is need of hour: DIG Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 7: A meeting on communal harmony and brotherhood was organized by Range Police Headquarters in Press Club Jammu today. Prominent citizens from all the communities participated in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Shakeel Ahmed Beig DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range said that people of Jammu are peace loving but sometimes few anti social elements try to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the Jammu region but it is heartening to see that people of Jammu have always been successful in diffusing such malicious attempts and thus Jammunities deserve appreciation for this. He said that time has come when the people of Jammu do not fall prey to rumours. They must maintain communal harmony and brotherhood as this is the key for the development of our country. He further said that our country is like a hand and various religions are like fingers and if all the religions stands united no force in this world can harm our country. |
