Jammu, Aug 7:Three persons received injuries in a clash in the village of Rehani jadwal in Mera Mandrian in Akhnoor when two sides clashed over an alleged land dispute. Meanwhile police taking cognizance have arrested one of accused while man hunt is on to nab other accused of assault case.
The incident took place on August 4 (Monday), when three brothers were working in their fields and their rivals assaulted them in a surprise attack and fled from the spot
According to the family members, three persons namely Suram Chand (38), Shinda (32) and Kasturi Lal (28), all are brothers were rushed to the GMC&H where their condition is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile SHO Akhnoor Bharat Sharma when contacted said that one of the accused has been arrested. He identified the accused namely as Mohan Lal, neighbor of the victim. SHO further said that a case u/s 307 RPC stands registered in this regard and manhunt is on to arrest the others absconding accused. |
