Srinagar, Aug 7: All Jammu and Panchayat Conference (AJKPC) has decided to sue Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Baramullah allegedly for using rude language against general secretary of AJKPC in his absence. According to reports, one unemployed youth Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh of North Kashmir's Baramullah District went to the office of ACD in connection with a work of MGNREGA Scheme and during his conversation with the ACD, he mentioned the name of General secretary AJKPC, Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Sofi who is also a Sarpanch of the area and wanted ACD's attention to clear the document work pending. ACD Baramullah Ikramullah Tak allegedly responded by using rude language which was secretly recorded by Manzoor Ahmad Shiekh in his mobile and later sent to AJKPC general secretary and other members. In the audio clip which is in possession of early times as well, ACD says that "who is this Sarpanch, is he a CHECHA,he is a non-entity ." AJKPC members reached to Minister for rural Development, Ali Muhammad Sagar. They also talked of seeking judicial intervention. "I have earned status not illegal money throughout my life, I wonder when I was not in the frame of conversation between ACD and Manzoor, why he used rude language against me, what was my fault and what he thinks of himself. We will sue him, drag him to the court for this," said the aggrieved general secretary. While demanding immediate action against the concerned ACD Vice President Abdul Majeed said that "Panchayat members were not elected to be abused by bureaucrats. Officials like Ikramullah need moral training first to deal with citizens of the society and then he should be allowed to sit on the chair'. Spokesman AJKPC, Ghulam Hussain Gulshan while condemning the matter said that 'Ikramullah is not a lone official who deals with people in his office like this. ACD Baramullah, Ikramullah Tak said that he does not know any such conversation in which he has used rude language against JAKPC general secretary, however wanted negotiation with AJKPC members on the issue. "It is not necessary I had used rude words for Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Sofi, I don't remember exactly but maybe I had used it for any of the employees of my office, please tell them meet me, what they want actually," he asked. |
