Jammu, Aug 7: Police arrested a person who was absconding from police after Public Safety Act (PSA) was slapped against him for his alleged hardcore criminal activities during raids in Narwal locality of Jammu city, police sources said . SDPO Narwal Rafiq Manhas when contacted said, "On specific information, the team from ,Narwal Police Station, conducted raid at the possible hideout of the PSA absconder namely Vipan Gupta of SIDCO Colony, Bari Brahmna."
"Accused tried to escape but IC PP Narwal Inayat Ali arrested him before he could manage a slip, police official said further adding, "accused was involved in number of criminal cases and keeping his record following which District Magistrate (DM) Samba slapped PSA against him." |
