JAMMU, Aug 7: Lashing out at the administration of Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura, Jammu Joint Students Union (JJSU) today staged protest demonstration and boycott classes demanding opening of admission for re-appear candidates. Protest was led by Neeraj Singh Langeh (State President JJSU) and Nitish Sharma (Vice President). Activists of JJSU alongwith students of GDC Paloura gathered in college ground and boycotted all the classes against the violation of rights of students. Addressing the gathering, leaders of JJSU said that 'Hitler Administration' of GDC Paloura is against the students community and is violating the rights of the students community. "In 2005 Cabinet approved opening of need basis colleges and all these colleges were approved to adjust the left out students," said Neeraj Singh Langeh that now administration of GDC Paloura is barring the re-appear candidates for admission one or other pretext. Meanwhile, Partap Singh Jamwal (State Secretary) Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) supported the protesting students and warned the Higher Education Department to immediately intervene in the matter. |
