| Voters awareness rally organized at district level | | | SAMBA, Aug 7: A voters awareness rally was organized at the district level in which the students as well as faculty members of the Government Degree College and Bhargava Degree College participated. The rally was flagged off by the District Development Commissioner Samba along with other district dignitaries including principals of both the colleges were also present in the rally.
The aim of the rally was to aware the voters of the Samba constituency about the manifestation of the election as well as the role of the voters in the democracy.
Through this rally a message has been imparted to the students as well as to the common voters that their vote is very important and them should register themselves for the vote identity card s and cast their votes in a fairly manners . "While having the rally of the students as well as staff -members, a very clear message goes to the common folk that there should be the need of a proper kind of accountability among the voters as well the political tier of the country and this can be maintained only if a general voter living among the far flung area should be suitably aware," said Dr M S Pathania in charge Principal GDC Samba. |
