| Kathua, Aug 7: At Indian Public School (IPS) Kidzee, the tiny tots got a unique experience when they celebrated Rainy Day, alongwith teachers and non teaching faculty members. All the participants participated with great enthusiasm.The tiny tots had come to school fully prepared for the occasion and had even brought their raincoats and umbrellas and were eagerly waiting to celebrate Rainy Day. The children looked trendy and thrilling in their colorful raincoats while holding a rainbow of umbrellas. Dancing in rain, they recited various rhymes related to the rains. Official spokesperson said that this day was celebrated with an objective to make the children aware about the "Dos' and Don'ts' in the rainy season for better health. Anu Dogra(Chairperson) along with R Sumbria (Principal ) spoke on the occasion and briefed the children about the significance of rain, different types of seasons and how essential is rain for our environment. Meantime chairperson appreciated efforts of the staff and encouraged them to celebrate such events by virtue of which learning can be blended with fun loving activities The event was organized by the coordinator Monika Jasrotia in coordination with senior teaching faculty namely Romy Kumar, Romy Sharma, Kajal and others |
