Four booked for breach of peace

Kishtwar, Aug 7 : Kishtwar police today booked four persons for allegedly breaching peace in Padder area some 65 KM from District Headquarter Kishtwar.
As per the details available with "Early Times", four youths namely Naveen Kumar alias Banti ( 25 yrs) s/o Ashok Kumar , Sunny (age 21 yrs) s/o Yogi Raj , Ajeet Kumar (28 yrs) s/o Rakesh Kumar all residents of village Begana, Kishtwar and Raj Kumar aliasRaju from Paddar uprooted the Eid banner at Kijae village as a result of which local people resented and held strong protest. All the four were returning from Padder. As soon as the incident took place, police party from Police Station Atholi rushed to the spot and pacified the angry people and arrested all the four accused and registered FIR No 10/14 u/s 295 RPC. The timely action of the police was hailed by all the locals and prominent citizens of Padder and Kishtwar.
It is pertinent to mention that Padder area of the District witnessed worst ever communal clashes on August 10 last year which resulted into the death of one person and large scale damage to public property.
