| USTA strongly condemns the callous attitude of education department | | | Kathua, Oct 6 : Members of J&K United School Teachers association (USTA) gathered at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park Kathua under the leadership of Dr Shashi Paul Singh District President and held strong protest demonstration against the callous attitude of administration of the school Education department towards the burning issues of teaching community.
While addressing the gathering provincial president Hari Singh criticized authorities at the helm of affairs who are working on the dictations of exploiters and crippled the department.
Alleging department of throwing all norms and rules to air he said, "Teachers, Masters & regularized RET Teachers working under SSA, RMSA & Head are without salary for past so many months". He further added that if teachers are without salary for more than six months then ZEO's, CEO's, Director School Education, Commissioner Secretary & even minister for School Education have no moral right to get their salary.
Provincial President strongly condemn the authoritative attitude of Education authorities who are misusing their official position by making norm less, pre mature, pick & choose transfers pushing large scale corruption & favoritism in the department. Following which department is ignoring all those have completed more than three years tenure in faraway places Bani, Malhar etc. and Masters, Lecturer who repatriated from Reasi, Old Doda District & even Leh & Kargil are still unadjusted & most of them are without salary for so many months.
USTA criticized the authorities for not making adjustments of Masters & Lecturers whose DPC was made more than six month ago adjustment of few lecturers have been made other are still unadjusted & demanded all adjustment in one go.
Dr Shashi Pal Singh demands of high-level enquiry in this adjustments & transfer bungling. He also demanded selection grade for trained under graduate Teachers, regularization of Lectures, Head Masters & Principals, minimum Rupees 10000 wage for un regularized RET Teachers & contractual Teachers, removal of pay anomalies in pay grade of pre revised 6500-10500, 10 % D.A due from Jan. 2014 & fill all vacant posts in Schools.
