HC stays Govt order of transfers, postings in Edu Deptt 10/6/2014 10:48:01 PM Jammu, Oct 6(JNF): In a petition filed by Simple Gupta and others who are aggrived of the government order No 7 GAD (Camp) of 2014 dated Spetember 17, 2014 and circular No 36-GAD of 2014 dated September 24, 2014 passed Commissioner/Secretary GAD by virtue whereof transfer affected since September 1, 2014 was rescinded, high court judge Bansi Lal Bhat issued notice to state and others returnable within four weeks. Justice Bhat, after hearing the two sides, observed that the counsel for the petitioners submitted that the impugned order was passed to deal with the emergent situation obtained in the state due to rain/flood but the petitioners who were posted in Jammu have joined their new places of posting.
